I have received a Letter of Demand from the Plaintiff’s lawyer, what should I do next?

You need not to get a lawyer yet but you must response to the Letter of Demand within the time mentioned in the letter. If you think that you need a lawyer, you may do so.

I received a summon from the banking institution, what should I do?

Please read carefully and try to understand the claims. If the summon come with the hearing date, please file your appearance to Court, in case you dispute the claims.

My son is arrested by the police, what should I do?

Please go to police station concerned to get more information about the arrest. If the offence is serious, you may need to get a lawyer.

I received a Bankruptcy Notice from the banking institution, what should I do?

You need to response as quickly as possible to the notice by contacting the telephone number stated in the notice.

My house is about to be auctioned by the bank, what should I do?

Please contact the respective bank as soon as possible. Seek advise on how to avoid the auction. If the auction is not justifiable, please get a lawyer to set aside the auction.

I was defamed by an individual through the social media, what should I do?

Firstly, please make police report, then send a copy of such report to the said individual and demand for unequivocal apology. If no positive response, you may consider taking a civil suit

I was wrongly terminated by my employer, what should I do?

Please make a report to the nearest Labour office, an inquiry will be conducted by the labour officer.
